Jeff Hood, lead Pastor

Jeff is a native Northern Californian, growing up in Sacramento, and has been married to his beautiful wife, Teresa since 1986. They have two adult children: son, Brandon and his wife Alex, and daughter Taylor. However, the bosses are his three grandchildren: Isaac, Luna, and Zoey.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University, Sacramento and a Master of Church Music degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Though he has been on staff at FBC as Worship Pastor since 1993, he became Lead Pastor in August 2020.

Jeff believes that the local church is “the hope of the world,” Jesus’ “plan A” for reaching people with his story… and there’s no “plan B.”

Jeff loves sports, music, playing games, reading, and spending time with his family. His favorite movie is The Godfather, so he never takes sides with anyone against the family. Ever.

jeremy holsworth, associate pastor

Born and raised in Fairfield, Jeremy felt called to pursue ministry and traveled to Moose Jaw, Canada, for Bible college, where he earned his BA in Biblical Studies. There, he met his amazing wife, Winter, started a family, and served as a pastor for seven years before returning home with a renewed passion for seeing God transform the city of Fairfield. He is deeply committed to guiding others in discovering God’s purpose for their lives.

Jeremy’s greatest joy is spending time with his family—especially playing with his three energetic boys.

diana hayes, office manager

Married since 1986 to her wonderful husband, John, Diana is mom to three grown children and has been blessed with seven amazing grandchildren! She also has a dog named Jennifer. She’s been on staff since 2016.

Diana enjoys hiking, camping, and being outdoors any chance she gets! She also enjoys hanging out with her family and going on “adventures” with her husband whenever they are able.
